Jamey Ferrier, PGA of Canada Apprentice Professional
Jamey discovered golf at an early age.
Growing up in a small Ontario town, he learned from his father not only the mechanics of the game, but also the values, discipline, and etiquette that define golf at its highest level. That foundation sparked a lifelong pursuit of excellence.
Jamey’s playing career took him from early success at Revelstoke Golf & Country Club in British Columbia to the international stage of the Long Drive of America Tour, where he spent six years competing across North America against some of the game’s most powerful hitters. That elite experience gave him what many coaches lack: an athlete’s understanding of power, precision, and performance under pressure.
Based in Calgary for more than 25 years, Jamey has spent the past seven years turning that competitive edge into focused, results-driven coaching for players of all levels. His goal is to help golfers build the mechanics, confidence, and consistency needed for lasting improvement on the course.
Jamey’s coaching style is clear, efficient, and practical. Using modern technology and proven techniques, he simplifies the game into repeatable fundamentals without unnecessary complexity. Each lesson is tailored to the individual, whether they are picking up a club for the first time or refining a game they have played for decades.
The result: Golfers who strike the ball with power and precision, perform with confidence , and have a scorecard that proves it.
Beyond the Course:
Off the fairway, Jamey is a devoted partner to Whitney and a proud dad to four kids, with a full house that also includes two dogs and a cat who likely have opinions about the golf clubs by the door. He loves to travel and believes that experiencing the world brings the same sense of perspective and growth that great coaching does.
A passionate sports fan, he bleeds for the Calgary Flames, never misses a New England Patriots game, and can usually be found cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles when the mood strikes. He brings that same competitive fan energy and high standards to everything he does, including helping his students elevate their game.
